It has been nice to see some new threads and would be a shame ASP-Maarja-Samsas Traum-F stopped posting just because of a language problem.

I have had several nicknames. But the ones that are most commonly used are "merlen" and "mellu".
Mellu - i just needed a nickname because that was in at the time and i didnt had any. a name to used everywhere beside my real one. So, me and a friend of mine, we just thought what could my nickname be and we decided on Mellu. It was amasing how fast i got stuck with that name. It was ages ago, when VN was a new band. And in uni, people still call me so...
Merlen - a friend of mine and me, we were being silly and started singing. all i could do is "lalalalaaa" and he didnt something else, similar to that. we decided we are great and we could make a band and take over the world. the only problem was - what would the band name be. Since his name is LENnard and mine, MERili, i suggested "lenmer". he didnt like it and said "merlen". i liked that and put it later as my msn name. again it got stuck with me really fast and i use it really often. even tho, the name first meant me and my friend, almost onone knows the story behind the name and think its all mine..

Nicola is my real name, also my second name is Alena. Most people call me Nico cause it simply shortens Nicola. My best friend Anna calls me Nika, thats how russian people would make a nickname out of Nicola she told me (x and then there's also Nici, Nini... ;) And a few others I'd have to explain (like Equus or Apse lol) but that would be a too long explaination :-p
