well that's interesting but it's hard to tell who really leads and belongs to the top ten,etc.

elvis and the beatles are for sure # 1 and # 2 but as for the rest i heard of different rankings,like that one page says there's no official list but i think it's a good way how to see who belongs to the top selling artists

well serious fans buy the original cd that's why i think some bands are not in the mp3 download list,that list still shows bands that are famous cause someone unknown wouldn't get downloaded nevertheless you can't compare it with record sales.

yep, mp3 sales are still for 'fairweather' fans or potential fans, not for those that love the artist already.

If you had the option of downloading or buying Marya's album on cd, would you download?? I certainly wouldn't!
