By popular demand, here it is - vampires! (Well, not that vampires are here but a place where to talk about them.) Share your thoughts and ideas about the topic etc.

I've been interested of them for long. Don't even know exactly how it started but I know everyone looked me like I was crazy when I told them about this. When "Twighlight" came, it was weird when you did not like vampires...

I love the Twilight saga, also I've loved the Underworld movies and other Vampire movies, books and TV-Series! Vampires kind of have what we all yearn for in some way or another: immortality. Plus they're incredibly sexy... Even the male vampires, like Edward are just so sexy...

Looked into it. It depends of the culture. In some cultures, they are up at day, others, they sleep during the day because they cant stand direct sunlight. (The same is with flying - depends on culture. In some cultures they can, others cant)

It is believed that older vampires dont need sleep - or as said in some articles, coma - during the day. They just have to void direct sunlight.

Well, then there are also, according to "Underworld", Lycans. They are kind of vampire and werewolf mixed. And according to Twilight, there's the possibility of a half-breed, half human and half vampire...

So then who are the sexiest vampires of all time? Of the females it would be either Bella or Selene, male I'd say Edward...

Twilight is great...but vampires have fangs and thats the only thing that I dont like about twilight cause the vampires there dont have fangs...or maybe I didnt pay much attention ?:-D

a magnet for accidents — that's not a broad enough classification. I am a magnet for trouble. If there is anything dangerous within a ten-mile radius, it will invariably find me.
Once two of my friends yelled at me on same day "You are impossible!". An hour later, i read how Edward yelled that to Bella. And one friend of mine said that reading twilight is like reading my blog. etc. My friends were laughing so hard, when twilight begun with bella walking, cactus on her hands. I love cactuses. :-D
Havent met my vampire yet tho... :(

Frankie: well, vampires do like to attack the opposite sex. And sometimes they like to bite in tounge, because it is one of the surest ways... :-D

bloodflowerz: I'll keep that in mind. Im reading "Eclipse" at the moment. But since other book im reading is also relly interesting, reading goes rather slowly.. and because i have to sudy for my exam as well...

It's a very good distraction once you have a "study-overload", Mellukas! :-) And they do have fangs in Twilight, just less showy about it, I think. :-) Bella will be amazing once turned vampire. And Edward is so hot - that's quite an admission coming from a hetero male... :-)

I like movies with vampires.
It gave many movies with Vampires, there are Underworld, Twilight, Van Helsing, Blade and many more.
But i find it cool Vampires VS Werwolf!

In the Movies Vampires cant go out in the sun and they have long theet xD xD
But In Underworld 2 is a mix half Vampire and Half werwolf and then they can go outside into the sunxD

Naah, i don't like them. It's like chocolate with meat - meat is good and chocolate is good. But you dont eat meat with chocolate, do you? (If you do, then this is a bad example)

Watching a movie called "Let the right one in" (Låt den rätte komma in). It's.. well, a boy who is not so popular, finds a girl who tells him on the second time they see each other "we cant be friends". sounds familiar? reversed twilight. "Let The Right One In is a story both violent and highly romantic, set in the Stockholm suburb of Blackeberg in 1982. " Only thing that bothers me is that the cast is 12. Ive never thought is a good idea to make a film about vampires who arent at least teenagers yet. Weird in this way, aint it - 18 years old guy bites girl from neck - romantic. 12 years old boy does that - creepy. Anyway, since i have to study i havent finished it yet so i cant tell how much i like it.

I find the Movie UNDERWORLD very great!! I like the battle Vampires vs Lycaner ( Werwölfe ). I think its a great Movie and kate Beckinsale as Selene is very great!! :-D

I love the Underworld movies also, Rebi and yes: Kate Beckinsale looks sooooooooo hot as Selene!!! The 'Lycans' are not really werewolves though, they're a mixture of werewolf and vampire. You'll find all this explained in Underworld III, which is really like an explanatory "prequel" for Underworld I and II. :-)

So I watched the movie (Let The Right One In) and...well...it's good, but quite different to the book and a little too tame. It's evident that the budget for the movie was too small. The two main actors are superb, but a lot of the other actors really suck. So, all in all 3/5.
But the book: 5/5!!!! Highest recommendations!!!
