I was last summer an a Avril Lavigne Concert in Locarno. I must say it was great. Many peoples say she cant singing Live but what I heard there! it was great. And she had a very big show. But the Concert was after 1houer and 10 minutes over! Thats really too short i think. :-( I like her old songs more as the new songs. I loved the skater Avril!! I hope she comes back :-p!!

I like Avril Lavigne too!!
I was at the Concert in Locarno too and i found it great. But it were too much peoples there and the concert was to expensive and to short only 1 Hour and 10 min.

I like the old Songs very much.(I can play all from them of my E-Guitar).
But I think she has adapted to the other stars and I find that very sad.

Previously, it had a exceptional style and music.

But I like her Music and I hope her next CD is diffrent from the CD the best damn thing.

avril lavigne is a good artist...i think she has a great voice despite the fact that someone out there believe that she isnt something special.. i like all her songs and they touch my heart when i hear of them! she is one of my favourites and i have seen her in Greece and i really like her!

Well I like all albums from her. Let Go is a great Teen-CD (with this one I grow up as Avril), Under my Skin a great rock CD, which goes under the skin and I think The Best Damn Thing is great as well. But it's different to the other two. It shows her happy side.
I like all of her.
But I think your right, would be cool if she does songs like My Happy Ending and Complicated another time in the future xD

To me, all her albums have great songs, the new one too. I just think she's perhaps diversifying a little too much lately. Her clothing line was and is a huge success, because it really rocks, but then she wants to also do movies now and so on... I really hope she doesn't lose her identity through this...

Do you know her Song I Will Be? It's not on a CD or something, but it's a new Song, i love it and she wrote it and sung it, but also she gave it to Leona Lewis and she made her version from this song with video and all stuff;-)

i was at the london 02 gig and though she was very good with the vocal and agree it was a short show, i was luckey to meet her after as we won a comp to go to the after party, sadley to my dissapointment no photos were allowd to be taken and phones were taken off us, (well angry about that) i would def see her again tho

None of the fan clubs I'm a member of seem to have a title - but the style will be a lot darker than the last one. Avril says it'll be more like Under My Skin... Also it will have several acoustic titles. The single will most likely be named "Black Star". There are 12 songs on the new cd. 8 of the 12 songs were produced by Avril's husband (guess she wants to answer all those rumours about a divorce). Avril's long-time friend and fellow musician of the first album (Let Go), Evan Taubenfeld, is also playing on the new album! In interviews about the new album Avril has said that it'll be more emotional than her last albums. That's all I know at the moment.

Yes, especially since you have been a fan for a long time also. I've been a die-hard fan from the very first minute, even before the first album. I loved Avril the second I heard her for the first time and haven't stopped since. Meeting her in person was especially nice. She's such a kind, gentle person. she's growing up and as a consequence so is her music, its a natural progression that many young artists struggle and sometimes fail with, however Avril was smart and knew that she had to go away and come back with a more mature sound.

yes I heard people playing Girlfriend a lot everywhere. But the other songs from the album weren't so big here in Germany. When You're Gone a bit, you could here it on the radio and see it in the tv, but Hot&The Best Damn thing I never heard in the radio and Hot I just have seen it once at the german tv.

Hopefully we will see a lot more from her with her new album and her new songs.
I think she can make more sucess with the next one coming out than with her last one, hopefully:-D

Well, I know what you mean, but is the appearance more important then her caracter, she is still cheeky, sweet and has great attitudes. Saw her two years ago live, when she was even more "pop girly" (with the song girlfiend) but she wasn't like that on stage, was was a damn rock chick there still. ;-)

Most of the songs are a bit slower but that's not bad after "The Best Damn thing" xD . But I would love it when there would be a little bit more "rock" Songs.
