there are 12 songs on the new marya roxx cd,as far as i know there's no download possibility online,buy the cd on tour or later on at her online store

We would like to ask all fans to refrain from sharing the Payback Time cd. It will be available to buy on the store very soon and giving it away to fans as downloads or by copying the cd wont help Marya's career at all.

I'ts clear from reading some posts on the forum that it has already been shared to some extent, which is very dissapointing. Thank you to all of you that are respecting Marya by not sharing the cd.

i can only agree to the former statements,buy the original cd and don't copy it,don't upload it,etc.!!!

creating and recording music costs money and the musician has to earn back that money by selling cds or playing live concerts.

would you offer your work for free? would you work without getting money for it? probably not and that's the same with musicians,sure it's fun playing music but you have to earn money too otherwise you can't go on with your music and that would mean no more music in the future,think about it!!!

we are here to support marya and not to cheat on her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as long as you buy the original cd on tour,in marya's online store or from another fan that's ok and doesn't cause any problems

Okey, thans for clearing everything out frankie. I just thought that this discussion started because of my post :-D Yes I want to support Marya Roxx and I hope it won't leak to internet. I already saw Marya Roxx EP in one torrent site :-( I have ORIGINAL EP :-D
P.S. - I'm sure that almost all here have music in their PC's which was downloaded illegally :D You can blame me but sometimes such stuff even helps artists to become popular. For example I wouldn't have Vanilla Ninja CD's if I haven't found them in net

It can help completely unknown artists possibly, agreed. But on the whole, the cd market has collapsed mainly because of illegal downloading and more recently, online stations with huge music libraries. And no: I am proud to say I have never ever illegally downloaded any cd or even song. I make a point of always buying the original cd in order to support the artists. :-)

3.some of my favorite artists are so unknown that you probably can't find their cds online

I admit. I have done it. You walk around the internet and you find a artist that is still in the basement with their stuff. but managed to reconrd one - two songs. And actually, in estonia the problem would be solved if the prices of the CDs wouldnt be so huge.

The artists I like, I always buy original CD.

what is the new price of a normal cd in estonia?
here in germany it usually costs about 15-16 euro and sometimes if they have special prices some big-name-artists even sell their new cds for as less as 9.99 euro

Don't know about Estonia, but here in Switzerland a standard cd at Mediamarkt is between 16 and 20 Swiss Francs, so around 10-14 Euros. "Cheapies" here are 5-10 Francs, so around 3-7 Euros.

Well, I don't buy the whole CD of an artist of whom I like just 1 song.
But there's an immense difference between any catchy song I heard on the radio and some of my favourite artists like Marya Roxx lol. I don't like mp3, if I download something, then just for fun, to can sing along with any hit or something :-p
In order to listen to music, I need the sound of original CDs. Apart from this, I tend to be crazy about collecting CDs.. I always need special editions and stuff and there's not just one record I got twice or three times because something is different :-D
And I also don't give music to anybody, I will certainly not distribute Marya's music.

well i like collecting cds and i want all of them be original.. i hate downloading songs of artists that i like very much like marya roxx, garbage etc. when i will hear a song that i like a lot for exmple leona lewis run i will download the whole album from the internet... thats all.. i want to have original cds cause i think in my radio are playing more loud and better!

That really sucks Bloodflowerz, i know a bit how that feels, our village got flooded a few years ago, being a dj, i had an uncountable amount of lp's, and as many cd's, only lost a hundred or so of cd's, but every single one of my lp's were damaged beyond repair, a collection which started with my dad buying me a few records each birthday and xmas since i was 8yrs old :-( i was so upset i didnt have the heart to start my lp collection again, just went over to cd's instead.

Anyway, I have read articles that illegal downloading often atracts new fans which go to concerts, and someday they also buy CD's. You can say whatever you want but I think you will agree that there are many people who download of illegal stuff :P 95% of people first download illegally that's not a secret. If I buy all CD's of artists which I like then i wouldn't have what to eat xD Situation in Lithuanian, Latvia or Estonia is very different from example Switzerland or UK. For people living in baltic countries 15 euro is not so much like in UK, USA or Germany. For 15 euro i was able to see VN live xD I want to be honest. I would buy some albums for sure if I have enough money but they're too much expensive and it's impossible to find them in LT shops, especially not so much popular rock or metal groups. I have only about 15 legal music CD's, I can afford maximum 1-2 during a year. For example Linkin Park CD here costs 59,99 Lt (or 17,4 euro). And minimum wage here is 800 Lt. After taxes it is 700 lt (202 euro). 100 euro is going for services (phone, water, gas, heating etc.). My mother last yeat got 1800 lt (520 euro) and now she gets 1500 (434 euro) because of crisis. I can't find job for summer and for future also like i did last, because this year unemployement rate raised drastically in Baltic countries. I can't live without music so I download stuff illegally but that doesn't mean that i am a bad person which doesn't want to support artists. I just can't!
