ok apologies first..no pics i'm afraid, my own camera stopped working after the pink gig and i had a camera i didnt really know how to work lol so no good pics to post :oops:
Well i dont quite know where to start, i am still trying to fit back into real life lol.
I went out to Berlin to see Marya live, i have never seen her live before and only 2nd time flying, so i was excited and nervous at the same time.
Flight went well and no stressful situations to deal with, despite having a taxi driver who didnt speak a word of english and me not many words of german, i managed to get to the hotel and and book said taxi driver for the next morning to go back to airport (yay me!! lol :-D) i just knew learning back in high school the german for tues and morning would come in handy at some point in my life :hehe:
The gig was out of this world, the videos i had seen of Marya before, despite being very good, fell far short of showing us how much stage presence Marya actually has.
I saw a very quiet unsure crowd turn very quickly, within just 2 songs into a cheering rockin' crowd who were totally getting into Marya.
When Marya gestured them to do so, the majority of the crowd clapped and waved their hands too, i even saw some fans going over to the merch booth and buying the album while Marya was still doing her set :cool:
The new songs from the album sound even more awesome live, Payback Time and Blinded my personal faves :cool: but they all sounded great.
The band were awesome too, John was great, Paul was cool, Danny was a cool surprise, i have never seen a bass player move around so much :cool: they were all awesome and looked great together :metal:
After the set, Marya came out to meet the fans, there were so many people wanting to meet her, and she was gracious and friendly to each and every one, i have never seen any artist (support or otherwise) stand at the booth for so long and greet every person with the same enthusiasm.
I think i have covered everything lol in short Marya was awesome and i can't wait to see her again live, a true rocker who infected the audience with her music :marya_band:
Marya always did have my full support but having seen her for myself live i am even more determined to see her signed and touring with her own name on the ticket :metal:
