sad news: Rock of Ages Postponed!

Sadly the Rock Of Ages fest has had to be postponed. We will update you with more about this as soon as we here anything. Here is the official statement from the organizer:

Hi guys;

Steve here. Bad news I'm afraid. I'm having to postpone "Rock Of Ages Fest 2009" until later in the year owing to circumstances beyond my control.

I do apologise for this, and will let you asap with regards to new arrangements for the event later in the year. The rescheduled event will honour any tickets already sold, or if refunds are desired, this will happen.

Please check back regularly for updates on the rescheduled event. Please do not take as read that everything will be as was confirmed for the event for June 20th/21st.

Nobody is more dishearted and let down than me at this point, however, we will rebuild, and reschedule, and will hopefully see you later in the year.

Very sad news :-( But for every bit of sad news there is some good lol. I won't have to juggle a birthday weekend for Jake and The Rock Of Ages :hehe:

I am gutted, i was so looking forward to seeing Marya :-( i hope she still gets to come over for some gigs of her own or these guys get to reschedule and Marya and make it, i am glad you are not gonna be so stressed for Jake's b-day though Deb :-)

i knew this could happen and therefore aren't surprised

but there's still hope she comes on tour anyway,maybe she even comes to germany which would be even better for me or to other places which would be better for others.
