Willis inspired me for this one lol. So for those of us old enough to drive :-p What are your fav driving songs?

Mine has to be The Doors, 'Break On Through' and most songs off of 'The Very Best Of The Doors' Another fav is The Rolling Stones - Hot Rocks double album. Both of these albums have got me through many a long journey lol.

not sure if she'll read this but playing The Doors album to Kat for 2 weeks while driving through Europe on the Richie Sambora tour, Has made Kat the HUGE Doors fan she is today :-p along with the Doors Movie of course :-D How come the John Holt part didn't work Kat

I'm sure for Willis, Barb and Anji the fact I don't have Bat Out Of Hell here is a big surprise lol :hehe:

well i just put on the music i wanna hear right at that moment like always

but there are few exceptions, when i drive along the us-highways i like to listen to countrymusic

and sammy hagar's "i can't drive 55" is another favorite for speeding up on the german highway without speedlimit :hehe:

Lucky for you, you don't have speed limits frankie lol. They make these songs for us to drive fast to then they fine us for doing it :-p

Yes, good thread Deb! Music can be an important factor in my mood when driving. Usually I like albums with a consistent sound that I can play the whole way through. Lately I've been switching between Paramore's Final Riot, Alexz Johnson and David Cook. All good to drive to. Once I believe I left Fall Out Boy's Take This To Your Grave in for over 6 months without taking out the CD, and I'm still not tired of that one.

Be warned: Hot For Teacher, Kickstart My Heart and When You Were Young will increase the chances of speeding.

lol Deb..actually Bat out of hell gets nowhere near my car, i dont rate it as highly as other fans seem to lol

umm i guess Meat wise..i listen to 'monster is loose' 'Break it' 'Bad Attitude' Couldn't have said it better' those are probably the ones i listen to most while driving.

others?? Well I like Andrew W.K - Gotta keep going , Chemical Romance - Teenagers, Daughtry - Over you, Pink - Bad influence and So What, Survivor - pretty much any of their stuff lol, Queen - most of their rockier stuff lol, lately been listening to Marya - nothing going on and Pearl - Rock child too

All of thse have a heavy presence in my car from time to time really, i'm a creature of habit in my car the cds in there rarely change, i like what i like to drive to lol whereas at home i'll listen to all types, but the car generally is more rock than anything else
