All their friends seem to care about their rooms. My two really dont care one bit. I can tell them to clear it up till i'm blue in the face but it doesn't make one bit of difference. When the boys were that age I did used to do it a bit. but I've basically left them to get on with it and they still dont. So every few months I have to go and blitz it and within hrs it looks the same again :santa_devil: I'm very house proud and I cannot stand living with two doors of my house basically shut and out of bounds cause I just cant look at it. It's not just mess either, they clean nothing. I could go on and on for hrs lol. A pic might be a good idea so I know I'm not the only one suffering here :santa_green: Don't you ever get the urge to clear it up? I can;t stop myself... kids who'd have em uh :santa_eyes:

Thats basically what I'm living with Val but on a worse scale and from two people. Also fighhting the rest for many many other things. Seems like an endless battle here :santa_cry: In fact the last 3 days have been hell with no sign of getting better. you may not want to read this but he is actually worse, he is 26 now, and has been evicted from several shared houses as his houstmates have gotten fed up and reported him to the landlord(in fact his first place away from parents was in my spare room, he only lasted a couple of months before i decided i didnt need the extra cash THAT badly!!He just doesnt seem to care, just stumbling his way thru life :hmm:

I use the ones from my doctor only when the pain becomes completely intolerable. At the moment it's quite bad, can't control the tears because of the pain, but have to work... I'm sorry it snowed, Anji. It's awful to be in the house when a man is watching sports, isn't it?:roll: I know my dad yells at the TV a lot. When he's really mad, he even walks right up to it and stares it down. It's soooo pointless.:hehe: I have to go stay in another part of the house. That is one good thing about being at university, if there is a game on, I don't have to hear him yelling, although sometimes I can swear that he yells so loudly it must travel over on the breeze.:hehe:

aww..i know that can be super painful :-( when mine came thru my dentist told me to crush paracetamol into dust and rub it into the gums where they were breaking thru, as well as painkillers. I was still in agony but the pain was a bit less lol

Wow, I can't imagine such a thing happening here. I remember when we had a record of around 60cm snow overnight, it wasn't long before it was all back to business as usual... The Swiss just have incredible infrastructure.

No, not stupid, just a completely different mentality. Like for example in the UK people tell a good club by how long the queue is in front. So they all patiently wait to get in, only to find the place half-empty. Here it's the opposite. The good clubs get the crowd in fast and the place thundering all night packed. Just a totally different mentality.

Thanks Guys, just spoke to my mum and she is ok and nothing valuable has been damaged, the water is starting to go down now so she is stressing a bit less lol, unless it rains it should go by tonight.
She lives right by the side of a river so when that overflows, her house generally gets hit quite hard, it was about 5yrs ago she was last flooded so i guess she had a good run lol.


Today and the next week at least is gonna be very rubbish cos they are taking my computer away for at least 7 days to fix it :-(

Spent today cleaning the aftermath up :-( inside of the car is soaked too.

They didnt come and get my computer so i spent this afternoon arguing with them on the phone as they were trying to tell me i wasnt in and they did come, but i stayed in all day with 2 kids (which is no fun lol) so they are coming tomorrow instead, the upside of that though is that i get the comp for one more night lolol they said 7-10 working days so i really hope its closer to 7 if not less :-(

i totally agree with you on this one Anji,it just makes my blood boil..what could they possibly get out of setting those fires on purpose,it is just sick,just a needless waste of lives,it is so very sad,i could not even watch it on tv,made me so mad..if they catch them the punishment never fits the crime.

Today sucks because i just spent 3 and a half hrs waiting to see the baby doc for casey :bleh: he said her ears are red and she has a slight temp, and maybe has a chest infection but he couldnt tell, so we got anti-biotics to give her, he said once the course has finished they will be able to tell if its asthma or not, so i'm none the wiser really i guess.
