Mrs Loud and Bonnie Tyler

I went to stay with Stu and Chelle on wed till yesterday. We went to see a great gig... Lorraine Crosby AKA Mrs Loud. For those of you that don't know she sang the female vocals on Meat Loaf's biggest hit 'Anything For Love' :cool: Lorraines special guest was the very talented Bonnie Tyler :cool:

It was an amazing show and an even more amazing 4 days :hearts:

I have tons of pics of the show and of all of us :-D Will try to get them online in the next few days. Steph and Val I'll try to be quick with the vids, I promise lol :-D

Stu and Chelle I love you two more than words can ever say :kiss: Thank you both for a truly wonderful time. I couldn't wish for better friends :hugs:

Very cool! Good to hear she put on a good show. I really love her album.:cool: I like a lot of Bonnie's stuff as well. I think their duet "Stand By You" is a really pretty song.

Finally i get on here and say what an awesome show Lorraine put on with special guest Lorraine:xmas_biggrin:
The show was more special cos i was sharing the whole experience with me bessie friends, Deb, Dave, Den and her hubby Mick, whom put his fingers up behind us on that pic! Great pics by the way Deb:xmas_biggrin:
I do have some lovely pics, but hubby hasn't resized them yet, been a bit hectic here.
When Deb and Dave came to stay that was the beginning of a great few days and nights. Jake was so sweet with Deb and Dave, normally he barks for about 20 mins when someone comes who he doesn't know. He obviously homed in on two very genuine, lovely people and was peace itself.
Lorraine was simply awesome, her vocal abiility is outstanding! Anyone who does not have her album, you are missing out on some superb rock and love songs!
Lorraine imo also did a phemonal performance of 2outta3, simply magic, i didn't think anyone but Meat could sing that, and have me think wow! but Lorraine pulled it off. She also did Lemon, which i enjoyed, as well as a group of Meat songs, Deadringer, BOOH, AFL and Paradise, sining parts from each, which flowed beautifully.
My hubby was over the moon with her singing A Love That Grows, thats his fave of her album. She did an acoustic version of my fave Still in Love With You, this really showcased her vocal power.
Bonnie was awesome, Hero, Heartache and Total Eclipse simply stunning. The duets she did with Lorraine were packed with emotion and you could tell they were loving it! Bonnie also did a couple of songs i didn't know, i wish i could remember cos i wanna buy them, being a FW is a pain:santa_haha:
The show was 2 and a half hours long, Lorraine sang every song from her album!
Now back to what made this time fab, shopping with my hubby and Dave, very patient men, me and Deb dictating what we were doing:santa_haha:
The wonderful meal we had, the laughs, and oh lets not forget the simply brilliant ten pin bowling on the Wii by Deb:santa_haha: that was hysterical. We stayed up late, talked, ate and laughed, Deb how was the SC? more Lemonade:santa_haha:
Really i wanted you guys to stay for days, miss you loads, so do the boys, and fancy not moving your leg for so you didn't disturb Toby, that was so sweet, i think i have that pic, or you might.

Or maybe it's just I don't appreciate the man behind it all :santa_dunno::xmas_redface: As the others are all out there doing it, where as the person who writes the songs isn't... dunno if that makes sense but I'm delirious with the flu coming on... :xmas_sad:All that said I went to this show 1st and foremost to be with two of my best friends in the world.. the show was an added bonus :santa_kiss:
