I've learnt recently I have more than I thought lol.

Dying

Dog + Cat pooh

Rats, Mice and Rodents of ANY kind

Birds

Heights but not planes and things you'd think would be scary lol, but bridges and stupid things :shock:

Closed in spaces. Not actualy claustraphobic but really hate feeling closed in... The thought of getting stuck in a lift fills me with horror...

Anyone else have any :-D i'm sure as you all add them I'll remember more and more of my insane fears :-(

Deb, I'm terrified of being stuck in elevators too, and the ones here in my dorm break on a regular basis, sometimes more than once a day.:shock: I haven't gotten stuck yet, but my suitemate has, and it went all the way up to the 8th floor and then stopped there. :surprised: I won't get on them now without my phone good and charged so I can call the front desk if they get stuck.

Funnily enough spiders don't bother me. Everyone else in the house is terrified of them and get me to remove them lol.

Is it all heights Val or just certain heights? The thought of walking over that bridge in 'I'm a celebrate get me out of here' scares me to death :shock:

Don't they have phones in the lifts Val? I think all of ours do, if not phones they have emergency buttons. Still scary though :flutter:

Nope, no phones. They do have the emergency buttons, though. Still, I'm not a believer in leaving things to chance. It isn't all heights but it's most of them.

deep waters (seas,oceans,rivers,etc.)
i can't swim and would never go into water,i'm not even going onto ships and already feel uncomfortable on bridges,so if i would ever win a cruise on a luxury liner anybody else could do it for me.

actually i even turned down the best job offer ever in my life playing in the board band on a cruise-ship for 6 weeks,they offered me 8.000 euros but i said NO WAY (not even for a million) :evil:

Wow, you guys sure have a lot of phobias!!!! :shock: I think my only phobia is fishbone - because when I was little, I was in hospital with a boy who had fishbone stuck in his throat and needed an operation to get it out!

My amin phobia is fear of flying,never actually flown,but have a panic attack when i think of it,must get over it and get on a plane

2nd..Dentist..would rather have a baby than go to the dentist..lol
3rd.large escalators..do go on them .but makes me feel ill..

I also dont like scalpels as a nurse cut a verruca out of my foot when I was about 7 and there was blood everywhere!
And then theres needles, a fear of falling and planes with propellors - I had a hissy fit in the airport and refused to get on the plane... :-D

You just reminded me of another of mine Siobhan,blood is also one of mine,i faint at the least little bit..went to give blood once..fainted when they took the little bit to test first out of my finger tip..lol

Not really a phobia but i hate crowds, i dont mean like concert crowds, i mean crowds in small spaces, kinda bothers me, xmas shopping stresses me out for that exact reason, so i do everything i can to avoid shopping when everyone else is lol queues dont bother me though.

Let's see..
*spiders are my biggest fear. After a friend of mine told me that "avarage people swallows about 7 spiders in their life while their are asleep and if we look your age.. you have probably eaten one" I didn't sleep for 3 nights..
* phones / numbers i do not know - i can speak with everyone in real life and i can send sms, but when my phone rings i get scared..
* walking in front of someone when coming down from stairs - im more than sure that they wanna push me.
* elevators - they are cool. but they are spooky. huge box going up and down.. (i prefer stairs, walking behind/next to someone)

i am not afraid of darkness but surely i am afraid of horror films like the Exorcist!

if i see a film like that then i wont sleep till morning!
For example i saw the Paranormal activity and then i didnt sleep till then sun goes up!

then i said to myself! Horror movies never again.

in your case it's maybe extreme ruba, i also don't like the darkness eventhough i wouldn't call it fear in my case
