time to run-new marya roxx song

hi fans,some of you may have heard the interview on thursday where marya said she covered the phantom blue song "time to run" for her first cd.

i wonder does anybody know that song and if yes how do you like it?

by the way,phantom blue was an all female hardrock band from the states who formed about 20 years ago,i think time to run fits almost perfectly to marya,if you wanna check out the song there's a video on youtube by phantom blue. it's a rather slow song in comparison to the rest of the phantom blue songs,anybody who likes female hard rock/metal should like their songs.

so now you already know one of marya's future songs :-D:-D:-D

To my amazement I have to say that I actually never never heard of this band! I must therefore amend this lack of knowledge and check them out! :-)

Just have checked it...it's great...and u can hear Marya singing this song in the recording studio video on youtube and I think it will going to be much better than the original version,it's going to be another great Marya's song(cover)...yeahhh!Can't wait for the album!:metal:

the band phantom blue was never really famous and like i said they started out about 20 years ago,the song time to run is from 1993 so it's no surprise that most of you won't know it.

if you check the video on marya's myspace site with the title "MARYA ROXX
BEHIND THE SCENES 1. STUDIO SESSION" you can already listen to marya's version for some seconds

Aww don't be jealous :-( If the sound was not distorted through the sound being so loud I would happliy share it with everyone. But I'm really not happy about putting it out there for people to hear. maybe I can do some sort of montage of it with the songs from the EP so you can at least see the video :hmm:

just to let you know how the original artist looks,here's an old postcard from phantom blue who originally wrote "time to run":

from left to right: kim (bass),gigi (vocals),nicole (guitars),linda(drums) and michaelle (guitars)

michelle died a few years ago and got into the headlines with her own band "meldrum" and she married europe guitarist john norum

linda is a friend of mine and still plays concerts in the L.A. area with her iron maiden coverband "the iron maidens", so if you ever visit L.A. check her out as she plays there almost every week.

maybe marya could even play with them as support band or headliner in L.A.,if there's interest from marya's side i could get them into contact with each other.
