My last phone had progressive water damage (it would not charge from and normal charger only a usb cable), which apparently accounted for the cracked camera lens, rattle inside my phone, broken camera shutter and the on/off button being stuck under the casing and so on... I sent it off 4 times and each time it came back in worse condition and so when my dad spoke to the workshop directly they effectively said you can't prove its not water damage?!
I only got it for my birthday last year so I got an LG viewty for myself and I love it (yep and early birthday present!)

Maybe. Interesting thought there, Deb. Sometimes responsibilities can be crushing... i find the times we live in an additional pressure - so many things to think of all the time... And then there's the whole matter of "expectations" - they're the worst of all, because they not only come from the outside, but also from ourselves! :-(

It was so much fun, my brother and i were never allowed to help when we were kids, my dad was so particular lol he was worried we wouldnt make it look nice, i remember my mum convinced him to let us do the tree one xmas, i was about 9 ish, i thought we did pretty good but when we got up the next day he had completely redone it, i guess thats why i was looking forward to casey doing this one so much :-)

Yeah, at my mom's house growing up my grandma was always really particular about the tree. One year Grandma decided there could only be red and gold ornaments and wanted it done just so and so my mom and her brother got so upset that they went out and chopped down their own tree (off of their land) and put it up in another room. So my sister and I were always allowed to help.

today is a great day for 2 reasons,no work and Jo is now staying until Wednesday instead of going home today..

Well, unfortunately for me there was work and noone is staying till Wednesday. But today was a beautiful day because it snowed and because I had a scrumptuous meal! :-)

Wel this is about yesterday but ran out of time then so here goes now lol... (Todays will be in whats shit about today lol or better still a rant thread I'm about to start :hehe:)

Chloe started full time shcool tuesday :-D Some of you already know she really didn't have the best yr in Nursery last yr... She really is the most friendly child going and would speak to absolutely anyone. But she got off to a bad start last yr with the teachers after Chloe fell on her first day and they failed to notice and when her dad picked her up that day she had an egg sized lump on here head. He asked Chloe what she had done and she said fell He asked the teachers what had happened and they said they hadn't seen anything then went on to say they had seen her crying but just thought it was cause she was missing me or something so left her to it :rant: I wasn't impressed but left it. Next day I think the teacher panicked a bit and thought I would put in a complaint so she turned it around on Chloe and this went on all yr really :-( She said Chloe hadn't told them and said they hadn't even seen her cry, which they'd told her Dad the day before they had. Then they went on to say how odd it is for a child to hurt themselves and not tell anyone.. Ermmm no not really.. (It was her first day in a whole new class with new people and she started a week after everyone else as she had, had chickenpox.) If I fell over in a room full of strangers I would harldy scram out loud, I'd try and cover it up and pretend it hadn't happened. I told them Chloe doesn't and if they ever saw her cry again to see if she was ok as it wouldn't be for no reason :evil: I think the teachers have been so worried since Chloe fell that they would get in trouble that all yr they seemed to label her as having problems with communicating :-( now if you knew Chloe you would know she was totally the opposite to that lol. Jake yes but not Chloe... The yr before that she had been so happy at her Playgroup, her teachers cried when she left but all through last yr she never looked happy there :-(

I was really worried they'd carry it on into the next yr as they had warned the new teachers that Chloe wouldn't mix much as they had told me when I went to visit the new class :-(

BUT all that changed on tue this week :-D Chloe came out of school with the biggest smile on her face :-D saying how much she loved her new school then she skipped all the way home... she did this all week till come friday she came out with a certificate, her teacher came out and told me Chloe had got 'star of the week' (The very first one of the new class) For being Polite, friendly and cheerful :-D:-D:-D:-D and her old teacher was there to see it lolol..

WOW!!!! Well done to an awesome little girl.....i just love Chloe, those teachers were muppets saying she was shy and stuff...she is the most outgoing and friendly girl i have ever met and i'm glad this is being realised now.

Actually, I just happened to catch his Facebook status, which said that he would be doing it. I didn't see anything about it on MySpace. The good news is that he said he hopes to do it again.:-) The bad news is that the last one was around 10:30 here, which would make it something like 2:30 in the morning there.
