facebook help!

OK, this is my little thread for every time I need help with this new fangled stupid site called facebook :rant:

I'm sure now Marya is on facebook, I wont be the only one needing this thread ;-)

Can I add pictures to people's walls?

Problem number 2: Can people see I'm on my facebook account ? like with myspace? I have all these notifications coming through my email and I can't reply to all straight away lol.

1. Yes, you can add pictures to people's walls. When the wall tab is selected at the top of the page, select the "Post Photo" option just to the the right of the "Write" tab.

2. Do you mean see that you're online? Yes.
Also, you can block those notifications from coming through your e-mail and/or decide which ones you want to get, and then look at them when you log onto Facebook.

Next problem, why can I see what others have said to me when i view someone elses facebook?

Tell me this gets easier please :-(

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean on that one. When someone writes on your wall, if that's what you're talking about, all that should show up on their profile is a notice that they wrote on your wall, not what they wrote.

It will get easier. It was a lot easier to learn how things worked on the old Facebook. New Facebook...:evil:

well Deb all u do on facebook all of your friends can see,like leavin comments and such a things like that,and if someone write a comment on your wall or picture everyone who is friend with that person can see it on his profile..

wow I'm amazed I haven't needed this thread for 2 pages lol....

I'm having a problem with facebook :-(

I closed it but it just keeps reopening another window eevry 30 secs or so. Just while writing this i have 7 now!

lol mluk did that to me the other day deb so not sure its a facebook thing, i had 17 windows before i was able to shut down and restart :hehe: my face was probably a picture lol

Facebook mucks up quite a lot.when it does i just leave it for a couple of hours then it seems to be ok.it took me so long to get my head around facebook,even now there is a lot of it i dont understand so i just leave them bits alone,dont want to complicate things too much..doh..lol
