Wow, Mariann, you're a real pet-lover! I unfortunately travel so much, that pets aren't reasonable for me. But if I could, I'd get a burmese cat. I've seen one in blue. Looks really cool! :cool:

i always used to have dogs (had 5 in the past, all rescued dogs) but since my last one died of a few tumours i never got another, just got too busy and had small flats so wouldn't be fair, it was different with my last, she was very old and was just happy to be anywhere with me :-)

Must be hard for you then, Anji, to make do without one all of a sudden! Well, for me it's the same reason - it wouldn't be fair for me to have a pet due to time restraints! :-(

I do miss having a dog around Mike, they are so loving and dedicated :-) it would just be too selfish, hopefully when my girls are older and we hopefully have a bigger home we will get one, i think all kids should have a pet to take care of :cool:

marlene was so cute when she was a puupy she still is cute now, she's mad but cute at the same time, she was my dog at first because my dad didn't want her but he now would be lost without her lol

Get your head round this Mike, both our dogs sleep in our bed. Hubby on one side, Jake under the covers in the middle, me, then Toby!!!:hehe: I wake up with me head on the bedside cabinet sometimes:hehe:
We actually bought a 6 foot 6 long bed, 6 foot 6 wide, the man in the shop thought we were mad when we told him why:shock:
So Barb i get ya;-):hehe:
No wonder i have a bad neck some days:-p:hehe:
Its not for everyone, but hey it works for us.
I will find some more pics, once i have woke up from my sleep;-):hehe:

You're right there Chelle, that's definitely not for everyone! :-) To me it's just a bit like, well dare I say it...going a bit too far. :shock: But like I said: if you feel comfortable with the dogs in your bed, then I'm more than happy for you! :-)

It was my own fault Toby getting in the bed. When he was 8 weeks old when i got him, he was tiny and he was crying the first night, so i said to hubby aww lets just let him in the bed for one night, and that was it! Still hubby loves our boys as well, so we are both happy:-D

Marlene most definately makes the bed her own..lol,hubby is a big guy and some mornings he is hanging off the edge of the bed freezing cold as she has also got the quilt..lol...our last dog was a 14stone Bull Mastiff,that would have been a laugh ,him on the bed..
