Yes, I've been following her career very closely, Frankie. I think she was the best possible choice for the role, not just because I'm a huge fan, but because she really has the character for the role. :-) Plus she's one of the few actors who can play guitar and sing for real. :-) Can't wait for the movie!!! She went to a LOT of trouble to make it authentic! Not just cutting her hair and getting that awful 70's/80's haircut but also getting to know the real Joan Jett and having her on-set to be sure it was all exactly as it happened. This will be an amazing movie. Not just for those of us old enough to have known and appreciated Joan Jett in her hey-day. :-)
