It sucks big time Mike lol. And with the credit crunch we have here right now it's even worse :-(
Deb, will your taxi fall into the higher car tax bracket when they change it in april?? We need to change our car before then cos its gonna cost big time, not that its cheap right now. As you say though with the credit crunch, its hard to find the money for anything right now and because people looking for a car know about the impending price changes my car is virtually worthless now, selling on the market almost £1,000 less than what i bought it for less than a year ago :-(
If Sam is smart she will save as much as she can for a while and look for a decent small car, otherwise she's gonna find it a shock how much cars can cost all round these days.

unfortunately its starting to take hold now Mike, i dont know anyone who isn't struggling financially, i hope our government make all the right decisions, but it looks here to stay for a while. Can't say we werent warned though, the bank of england predicted it a few yrs ago but the government were a bit too arrogant and thought it wouldnt be so bad, it seems they didnt prepare enough :hmm:
Congratulations Sammy!! :-)

As ever Mike, we are in the hands of people who we hope know whats best ;-) if there's ever a time for them to prove it, it is now. For someone like sam though with expendable cash, if she saves hard she may be able to take advantage of all the cars about for sale right now due to people needing the money.
