Hey there Kostas,

why should I laugh at that??? Avril is a really good artist, she plays several instruments and actually writes her own songs. I respect her for that. It's a lot more than can be said for many others! She also looks great, has style and knows how to get the crowd screaming! I should know...

I agree completely Mike, even if i dont like the artist's music much i still really respect the talent of someone who plays instruments and writes songs even if its not my style, at least they arent being handed fame on a plate, they are working for it.

Hey there Anji,

thanks for the compliment. I actually had the chance to see Avril in person on two separate occasions. It was unbelievable! The thing (out of many others) that stuck with me the most is her overpowering presence. Even though she's extremely short, she sticks out like a lightning bolt in a room full of tall and large people. And she really is a very polite, kind person. You loose the "awe" for her as a star very quickly, because she clearly doesn't care for that. In short: she's an artist you just simply have to respect and love. Truly!

My first concert was a Meat Loaf in 1987 with me dad and me bro, me dad sneaked me out of the hospital, said i was going home for a bit :hehe: I still had 20 clips in me abdomen from surgery, was one of the best nights of me life!
We had to act all calm when we got back to the hospital, i am surprised i hadn't burst a clip:-p

Green Day back in 94' They weren't known yet and the concert was only 4.00 US. A great show and as a added bonus I got to go to the bathroom next to Billie Joe (I didn't know who he was then).

At that concert I got free tickets for a concert featuring an unknown act called Marilyn Manson. That was a great show as well. To be honest, I only went because I heard a rumor that Nine Inch Nails was playing with them. It was just a rumor, but Manson was great. By the next year Sweet Dreams came out and they were in a large venue.

So, in a way both these concerts were my introduction to live music.

Hey there Anji,

yes, it certainly IS nice to have real artists around - that's one of the reasons why I'm supporting Marya Roxx! She also (like Avril) is a REAL artist, a real person who doesn't need to behave like some Diva to make sure everyone knows she's the superstar. It's easy to see how genuine Marya is by reading her texts, her replies, her concerns... She really chose the right name, becaus she damn well ROXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool::cool::cool:

Hey Chelle,

what a fantastic story! I don't have a story quite as fun as that! The closest I can get is managing to NOT get a cold after waiting for an open air Avril Lavigne concert for three solid hours in the pouring rain two years ago and then going wild with the crowd (thousands) still in the pouring rain! When she sang the line "standing in the rain" we all smiled! :-)

It's funny how the atmosphere of a concert makes you forget the awful weather conditions lol out of the we got drenched at 2 ML shows this yr and wondered what the hell we were doing there till the music started.....once that band fired up you forgot all about the weather and was into the music, once the show ends though, reality sinks in again :hehe: at the Bath gig i was lucky i still had my sandals in the car from musch sunnier days, had to take my shoes and sock off by the time we got back to the car :hehe: that was looonnnnggg drive home i can tell ya :-p

Hmm, not so sure that Kiss would be the kind of band that Marya would care for... All that emphasis on externals and show etc. seems like the exact opposite to what Marya is about. My dream would be Marya as supporting artist for AC/DC! Now that would really really really blow my mind! Just imagine it!

well kiss and ac/dc would be both great bands that marya could support on tour cause they are both rockbands and attract many people

i went in go up the stairs there stands Renee and watched her and i OMMG thats marya i went slowly forward but didnt try to go trough the lafee fans coz more nearlier i went the parents watched like they wanna kill me so i stood/stand in the middle and enjoyed the rest of the show!
After i went out to the merch booth and talked with deb (hy, the ep please and the album, and two buttons thanks. lol)
Then i stand there and waiting and then Marya is coming not only marya the band too (paul, john etc) and i felt like im in a movie or a dream this could not really been now?!
