Hey Guys! who did see the show yesterday?! which songs did you like:-) and your impressions in general..:-D
i like very much the Greek Song! and many other songs as well and germany's was very good too! express your opinions:-D

well my fav. song was Sweet people from Ukraine.
I really loved her voice and she is so pretty!
Wish she was the winner! but i like Germanys too!

to be honest i think that germany究 song is very nice but i definately did not deserve to win..系hey were much better songs like romania究
and in German΄s song presentantion was very plain i wonder why people chose it! but it is a very good song my personal opinion!

Well I'm so happy that Germany won! But all we Germans didn't think about it. It was a surprise for us! But it was great to watch! I liked her apperance very much. But there were also other very good songs that I liked. I really liked the boy with the guitar.
i only watched lena's performance and the end result but not the other performances. i can't say anything about others but i don't like the german song at all,it sucks and lena's appearance and voice are far away from good so i was more than surprised that she won and even that clear.
well, i was 100% sure for the result!
i knew she's gonna win!
She is cute, her song is nice and fresh like her, she was funny and happy!
i like the song and when i listen to it i always dance! lol

Sorry, i didnt like the winning song at all, unfortunately i think it's the old thing of a song being popular because it has a catchy chorus. Unfortunately the brits dont exactly share the enthusiasm that the rest of europe has for this contest, we did when i was a kid but not anymore.
i remember buck fizz with making your mind up from the early 80's,they won for the UK and i loved that song,do they still exist?

ha! i share ur opinion Anji! i think that究 because Uk does not take points from other countries due to political alliances and this of course its unfair considering the fact that UK has sent brilliant songs to the contest like Javine΄s touch my fire or daz shampson΄s song 系eenage life΄΄ and has came last :rant::rant:
and it is logical that you don系 show much interest and you禿e completely right!:-)
sad but there are also political reasons that help songs to get better places.but of course i think that the most winner songs deserved to be the winners but sometimes this contest is absolutely unfair:-)

well at least she brings joy to many people,that's a positive aspect
the latest news are that lena will also sing for germany next year 2010,isn't that crazy? they will have a show where she sings a few different songs and the audience can vote which song they want her to sing. so good news for all lena fans

the biggest german newspaper did not only have most of the cover about lena,they also had 3 extrapages only about her,never heard of that before,it's lena mania here right now

not really frankie, they are all a fair age but i think they do some live shows every now and then, there was a tour recently with just 80's bands, i'm pretty sure they were on that :0)

Well over the years we have seen more and more contests where everyone votes for their neighbours and few vote for the music. Our commentator almost always gets it right when he predicts who will get the top points from each nation, it's kinda funny but more depressing when i remember this used to be a contest about music.
We just cant get excited about a contest that isn't a contest :hmm:
We had a new presenter for the last few because our regular one retired from presenting it after getting so fed up with the predictable outcomes

ha of course Anji...and the video is so right.I think that a country like UK who has ΄born΄ the most talented musicians who are worldwide known beatles,Arctic Monkeys,Blur and other great solo artits and british bands has not got the chance to get a better place in the contest yet so it is so sad but for me two entries deserve to get the 1st place and may many others because Uk as i said is a great music Industry i would say better than the American

we also make jokes in germany about the block-voting there. germany is the home country for millions of people from the turkey that's why the turkey usually get 12 points from here,haha
also the scandinavian and specially the eastblock-countries stick together. it's interesting that estonia gave us 12 points this time.
as for the above mentined uk-contestants i liked the 2005 singer very much but the one from 2006 sucks in my opinion.

haha nice frankie!! i think that the scandinavian blocks are the strongest in eurovision because they always share points each other and countries in balkan sometimes give 0 points to us unlike Uk who gives us always 12 points!!!! i always knew that this people are soooo awesome!! (:

but in my opinion she is great i love her she is extremely beautiful she has great voice and she is down to earth person! and she is not pretending she is like and ordinary person she is an example to the young stars that are talented and think that they are great! i believe she is no1 like her song is! this performance gave me chills and make me proud of being Greek also i don't think that Greece or any other country will win the contest with sucha great song the most fair victory in esc!

i liked it very much!!!!!!:-) when i saw it i said now we are on eurovision or in a concert i think it is very catchy and its presentation simply amazing. it definately deserve to win the 1st place and not the cute girl who wanted to go to the toilet:-D:-D

well it's rocking but i don't really like it,it's for sure not the worst and remembering what turkey had to offer in the past it's even above average but once again not my thing.
i also don't like that romanian song but i remember denmark was pretty good and the girl who sang for armenia was pretty good looking,her name was eva rivas

I think Germany had a great song. Memorable, easy to remember, catchy. All that a eurovison song needs. :-)

I believe Ukraines song was better than Germanys. far better!:-D
