I'm reading
David Gemmell - Stormrider
I really like this author,i have read alot of his books and never been dissapointed, he writes fantasy stuff but with enough reality in them not to be sci fi.
I'm reading ..... This thread :lmao:
oh dear lol trust you to say that
I doubt you have time for books lol
I'm Reading to kill a mockingbird by harper lee for English, this is the second time I'm Reading it and we have to read it a third before November so by then I'll be bored of it
i know its supposed to be a classic but is it any good?? I get bored really quickly if books take too long to get going, i'm kinda like that with films too actually :hmm:
yeh it's quite good but I think you really need to study it to get a deeper meaning out of it. The beginning is actually the end of the book so you don't understand it until you read the whole book so I was a bit baffled to begin with but it pretty straight forward after that :-)
ah ok think i will give it a try at some point then, i love reading just before bed, really settles me down :-)
Yeah I always seem to fall asleep with the book open and then I lose my page although at the moment I go on my iPod touch before I go asleep and go on here or play this addictive cube games I've got on it. I really should be going now less than 6 & 1/2 hours til I have to get up.
To Kill a Mockinbird is one of the best books ever written...
I'm reading Knut Hamsuns 'Hunger'.
Kat as soon as I saw this thread I knew you'd find your way here Mrs Bookworm brainbox :hehe:
i am reading Debs posts...
lol do you read books though Kostas?? I like to read, don't have much time to focus though :hmm:
i read books Anji..now the next lesson i give is at 17day sempteb..i have time to read other books and visit the forum

Hey there,
so there are actually other people out there reading real books?!;-)
I am presently reading "Eclipse" by Stephenie Meyer, the third volume of the four volume "Twilight" series, a kind of Vampire/Lovestory/Drama. Unbelievably addictive! It's interesting how I got to start reading these books - almost embarrassing... I absolutely LOVE the actress Kristen Stewart:hearts::hearts::hearts:. And she's going to be the lead star in the Film for the first book "Twilight".... I think the movie is coming out around mid-December. I highly recommend these books to anyone at all - there's something for everyone, a real joy to read and utterly addictive!

I really wish I had the attention span to read books lol. It always makes me feel guilty even thinking about sitting and reading as there are so many other things I need to do lol

Hey there Anji,
not so sure about that - book stores are actually reporting steadily rising sales! :-)
I think reading is extremely important, especially for younger people, it trains the imagination. I find it amazing (and sad) to see how some people have so little imagination left... So, maybe a book here and there?

my 2yr old loves her books, sometimes i get fed up of reading so much to her, but i keep doing it, i hope she never loses her excitement at reading books, she constantly goes to her box and brings me books to read :-)
there are a couple of waterstone bookshops near me but other than those i wouldnt know where to go for books to browse thru, if i know which author i want i usually use the net instead.

Right now it doesnt seem like fun. :P Its A4 frmat book, has more than 500 pages.. ive thought already several uses for it. for example, if someone breaks in, i can hit him/her with the book and he/she will be unconscious until the police come. Or I can use it as a coffee table..
