I think we could make a poll of our own. First of all we'd have to nominate eligible bands though...

By the way, in this case a lot of the bands are not from the past 1-2 years. Even a brief look will show you that. :-)

Note: Paramore are incredibly far up here. With over 300'000 votes, that's an unbelievable achievement for a band headed by a 21 year old female singer who writes her own songs! Kind of makes me think of what Marya could do...

Note: Paramore are incredibly far up here. With over 300'000 votes, that's an unbelievable achievement for a band headed by a 21 year old female singer who writes her own songs! Kind of makes me think of what Marya could do...

i wouldnt agree with the order, newer bands always seem further up with the gauranteed exception of Queen :-p

But otherwise i would agree with the majority of them being somewhere there, although not liking all the music of every band, i would go with the albums mentioned. Wouldve been nice to see some other older bands but it's ok, i always use these kind of lists to check out bands i hadnt heard of before.

I think Frankie is exagerating here - there's no way 90% of the 100 Best Rock Bands Ever, which over 300'000 people voted on, could all be crap. I know a fair few which are really good, haven't counted them, but they're certainly way more than 10!
