Marya Roxx International. Do you want it back?

Some of you might remember maryaroxx.net site which was existing from "Could You" times till the beginning of 2009. I know you liked it a lot and I have hope to bring it back somehow :-)

there was a site MaryaRoxx.net which was in 3 languages and was being updated by me, nicola, nadine, angell and chris :)

I voted yes :-D But I think it needs to bring something to it that this site and forum doesn't have if that's possible :hehe: In other words not just all the info and stuff from here copied there :-D Not that's what you did have though, just a thought :-)

:-D:-D:-D Why the map is so special to you? xD I guess when I will re-open page i will show statistics and map from google analytics which shows where visitors come from, which OS, monitor, JAVA, FLASH they have xD

Yeah, your idea is good. I though about that. At first when i closed I felt sad, later I dealt with it and now I want to bring it back again. Don't know why xD I just have such weird waves :-D
I will make it with WORDPRESS (CMS) so it will be much easier to edit site content to me and to journalists who don't know HTML, PHP well :)

Well, if you look at other bands, they also have an official fan site and lots of "inofficial fan sites". In some cases there are even inofficial fan sites which are better (:shock:) than the official website (for example Avril Lavigne...). So, if as Deb pointed out, it really is independent and not just copying stuff from here - then that's a good sign and good for Marya.

I agree Bloodflowerz :-) Same in the Meat world as the Avril one lol. My only worry with Marya is at the moment she is still smallish and a fan site needs to compliment this one rather than take away from it :-) But it definitely is a good thing for there to be fan sites. The balance just has to be right. Now that's the hard part :cool:

i like the map a lot cause when i used to visit your page i usually went down and see from which countries and how many visitors knew about marya! and as i remember she had a lot in europe!

Well, i will try to support anything Marya is ok with being out there, but to be honest, i dont have much time anymore to do what i need to do on the net at the moment, and i have been very slack on the net in last few months so i'm not sure it would be somewhere i visit more than occasionally.

Agree with Deb though, it does have to find a way of complementing the .com site / forum instead of detracting attention away from here :-)

well i also don't have that much time that i can check out all the other pages about marya or whoever i'm interested in. i have nothing against other pages dealing with marya but i personally just concentrate on this one cause here i've got the best ;-)

Fan sites don't take away attention from official sites and if they take then only because it's better and have more info. If so Official site is still visited but not so often :-D For example VN official fan page have about one news in 2 months and fansite has 20 news in a month so it's only good thing that they attract attention to the group or an artist. And I visit official site of VN about 1 time in a week and fanpage 2 times in a day xD If you write to Google Marya Roxx first page will always be official myspace or official site. Deb's site is #3 :-D
For example i rarely (1 time per month) visit official Marya Roxx site because there isn't interesting stuff and loads really slow. I rather go to Deb's site. It doesn't have so good design as official one has but has lots of good info which is the most important.
Secondly, marya herself said that she appreciate all fansites who are made for her and liked everything except 1 link :-D

If you were actually visitng my site you'd see I stopped adding news a while back now.. I only add major stuff to main page, to promote tours, competitions, street team etc.. .. I did this because the Official site (and this forum) has every single bit of news there is to have. You can't be looking at either my site or the official one if you haven't noticed this :hehe: IMO the official site has since day one always posted the news here on the forum and on the website, both of which are really one being (imo) So really no fan site could possibly have any more info than here :-D They could bring something different to the web though and that is what I'd like from a fansite on the net to represent Marya. Not just all the news from here copied to the fan site.

haha, we never agree with each other :-D It doesn't have all news. There are some news about MR in estonian press and no one translate them and official site would never do such stupid things like a fansite :-D
Fansites try to promote themselfes by sharing links with other sites. For example I was affiliate with few other rock bands like The Rasmus and the one who sings Armagedon song/soundtrack of the film (ATM I can't remember band name but the group leader is skinny and have huge lipps :-D)

Stuff on Estonian news sites isn't relevant to Marya's career on the whole and from what I've read is just out to dish dirt. yes I'm sure there are a few articles slipping through the net from Estonia but as I just said they aren't real news. But if there are any that are interesting and not harmful to Marya or her family then it would be cool if someone could translate them, either here or on a fan site :-D

i voted yes!! all i have to say is keep carry on with this site guy!!! from this site i discovered marya! plus she appreciates every page that is made for her and does not have copyright issues with the official site! i see there are million of fansites in the internet about singers and bands and furthermore your fansite is the oldest around!
