Today in 1997, 29 years after the band first formed, Led Zeppelin released 'Whole Lotta Love', their first ever single in the UK. The track recorded in 1969 and featured on the bands second album was issued to promote their re-issued back catalogue.

Didn't know that

2005, Liverpool City Council confirmed it was to demolish Ringo Starr's birthplace because it had "no historical significance." I was Dj-ing at the time Bob was No.1, it was around my busiest time too when i was doing 3 or 4 gigs a week, boy did i get fed up of that song!!! My heart used to sink when i saw that there were kids at the party, i just knew i was gonna get loads of requests for it.

Having said that it was requested at a wedding i did once, what's strange about that??

The BRIDE asked for it, she and her friends proceeded to then dance in a circle to it  wish i had a camera right then :lmao:

I only found one other song more annoying than this to play all the time, and it was the crazy flipping frog!!!

Now that's strange! How old was the bride?

The crazy frog wasn't even a good song the first time you heard lol. Not that Bob was any better but at least it made sense as to why people(children) liked it

I would have guessed the bride was at least early 30's, waay to old for bob anyway lol

And i was even happier (not) when they released the crazy frog album :rant2: the kids had a variety of annoying bloody tunes to request

The bride was crazy, or extremely drunk lol
