2009.11.28 Gasworks Bradford

Marya's concert at Gasworks in Bradford. She started her concert at around 11.15pm. Doors opened at 7.30pm, the support band (Godsized) started at around 9.30pm.

Deb was working hard on Marya merch stole, I got some merch, some really cool tour t-shirts on the stole! I got the album, and it kicks ass, I love it! Marya come out at the end to sign merch and to have pictures taken with fans! Which was really cool!

This was my first ever Marya concert I've been to and I loved it, Marya kicked ass, the band sound really good, really enjoyed myself, Marya sounded great!

I’m not much of a writer, but I’ll post picks sometime this week! I’ve managed to sort it to go to her show this Thursday in Nottingham! People, who read this, should defiantly go, and let’s make this show a sell out for her!

I’ll leave Deb, to give a full on review of the show!

I can only agree! The concert at the Gasworks in Bradford was the best I've seen in my opinion, it even topped Bristol, which was very hard to beat. Firstly, the Gasworks is a magnificent location, the biggest live club around, equipped with a huge bar, smokers quarters :-), great sound and a large stage! Marya was supposed to be on at 11pm, however due to the entire drum set having to be changed from a left-handed set (from the Godsized drummer) for Marya's right-handed drummer, an extra 15 minutes were required. Then Marya came on stage, everyone was cheering and there were quite a lot of people. The sound was the best so far, I think, absolutely superb. Marya rocked the place, the walls were shaking and I was enjoying myself to the max! :-) Sadly, it was my last show, so I had to say goodbye to Marya, which was really sad. I bought lots of merchandise as well, of course! :-)

Have to agree with you both, yet another amazing show. They just keep getting better and better. It's a shame there is only two left now :-(
