View Full Version : Which languages can you talk?
i can speak german, american, english and a little bit of french
Hmm this isnt very difficult for me lol, i only speak english.
My mum speaks Hindi too but hasnt for many years and never encouraged my brother or i to learn it.
The closest i have gotten to speaking another language is extremely basic german which i learned at school, so i can say my name, age, talk about my family :hmm: ask for direction to somewhere (and not understand the answer :-p ) stuff like that ;-)
And as i found out in Berlin, i can book a taxi for the next morning :-p
But i am embarrassed to say i don't speak anything beyond english really
I can speak german :-D LOL And a little bit english but not so good ;-)

I really want to study Estonian....
if I could have the same level in Estonian as I have in English, it would be fantastic :-) - everything is possible :-) so I believe in that.

All of you are very clever speaking more than one language :-) and all of you have come on soooo much since being on here. I'm actually trying to learn French as it's basically the only other language I have ANY understanding of lol. Plus they taught it as school (notice I didn't say I learnt it lol) so I have a very limited knowledge of it. I'd love to learn German as most of my foriegn friends speak it :-p
Cool Deb! I had frech 3 years at school but I cant say one word and I dont understand anything :devillaugh: I can german and a bit english  And Deb I think it would be great you can speak german :hehe:
