2009.11.25 JB's Dudley

Well, since I was there I had better write a little something on Marya's fantastic concert at JB's in Dudley. She started her concert at around 9pm. Doors opened at 7.30pm, the support band (Voodoo Johnson) started at around 8pm or so.

Deb and Anji worked very hard and set up a beautiful shop and Marya came to sign anything and take pics with her fans afterwards, as we've come to love ever since her last tour. I took lots of pics and will post them once I find somewhere where it's possible.

Personally I think that this was the best concert of Marya I've ever seen - the sound quality was superb, the venue among the finest, the stage large enough for Marya to jump around! :-) The only downside was that due to it being a Wednesday, the numbers weren't exactly great. Nevertheless, everyone, and I mean everyone who was there loved Marya and some bought merchandise.

Agree with both of you, and definately Deb, this tour seems to have speeded by, i'm so sad that i am only seeing one more show :-(

But i will make the most of it and enjoy Marya for the limited time she is over here!

There have been very different types of venues and audiences from what i have seen, but the one consistant thing is that however many people were there seem to really like Marya :cool:

Agree totally - saw that once again in Bradford. They were all cheering like mad!!! This was a particularly great show, fantastic sound, great people, incredible venue...loved it!!! Photos to follow.

He couldn't use his own as it would be too much gear to take from town to town :-) but considering he is using other bands kits he really is doing an amazing job. Jim is a righty and he has been using 'Godsized' Lefty kit lol.

And don't worry he did get naked I just ddin't want to posta naked pic in every batch lol :devillaugh:
