Ok this is different to what are you listening to now. I tried it on another site and it seems to be going well so we'll see what happens here :-)

Everyone has a song that hits the right spot at that moment, maybe describes or catches the emotion of whatever they are going thru at that time. Music lovers generally use music alot to cope with everyday life, i know that its certainly true for me throughout most of my life.

So what song hits the right spot right now, this week or just today....


for me atm it is: Jesus take the wheel - Carrie Underwood

Its all about not knowing what to do next and needing some strength and direction (despite the title it isnt a religious song by any means)

I had to think long and hard to answer this thread. There are so many songs which mean a lot to me. But I guess there's one which is especially important. It's "Heroes", by David Bowie. The reason is that I watched the movie "Christiane F." when I was around 11 years old. This song is a big part of the movie and it haunted me ever since and kind of stopped me ironically from ever doing serious drugs...

Okaaaay, I'm sure this post will start a LOL effect, but I really can't help it, and yeah, I am kinda embarrassed coz of this, but the one song helped me through some very rough times was, brace yourself, STRONG ENOUGH by Cher lololololol
Those lyrics were so freakin' suitable fot those times, and actually, right now I am going through some shi**y period, that song just helps me to get through the day xD lol

It's all publicity, she lost favour here and couldnt sell a copy of anything, she did that stupid lily allen and friends show and got mauled in the papers for a shameless publicity stunt, i liked her first album, it was cleverly written, though this new one sucks imo, 'your fault' is tasteless crap in my opinion and there is nothing clever about her lyrics in this album.

Compare the new album's lyrics to the likes of 'LDN' and 'Smile' though she isnt really my style, i did admire her lyric writing ability, but now she seems to have just gone for shock tactics :-( i think its a shame when artists stoop this level.

Just my personal opinion of course though ;-)
