Ok i kept saying i would do it when i had more time and it just aint happening lol so its a speedy introduction :-p

Theres not much i can add really to what you've all read in my posts lol but i'll put it all here in one place just to be organised :-D

So how did i get into Marya, well Deb very kindly pointed out to us Meat fans that John and Paul were backing a new artist, i decided to have a listen and see what was what, also saw John raving about Marya on his site and he sounded dead enthusiastic so i was even more to keen to have a listen. Have to be honest and say i wasnt crazy about 21?! but the other songs on the EP knocked my socks off, i love heavy rock so the EP now has a spot in my cd interchanger  right next to my other fave EP of Pearl's  These two girls are so talented they both have my full attention right now :headfones3:

So now a brief 'who the hell is she' lol
Well when i was young free and single (not that long ago :-p) i was a DJ, nothing huge just a club/private dj, i managed a reasonable living at it for 8 yrs before stopping to be a mum to my lovely 2 and a half yr old daughter Casey. I'm now sitting on my butt most days waiting it for my new baby to arrive on the 17th, just over a week now  i'm excited but a bit nervous at the same time lol just preparing myself for not having any spare time for a while after that :hehe:

So hmm there you have it lol ok so it turned out i had more time than i thought :-p if you've fallen asleep reading this please accept my apology when you wake up :coffee2:

Looking forward to speaking alot to you guys alot more and having fun as and when i have time

in hindsight i shouldve split it into to tiny ones to get my post count up more :hehe:

Luckily Casey is behaving tonight so thought i would attempt it ;-)

As for multitasking lol these days i feel proud if i've done one thing i set out to do for the day

mostly boring mundane, general stuff at birthday parties/wedding's etc, those are the gigs that really make the money.

I specialised in Rock and Country though, i know most about these two genres than others, used to do line dancing shows  (not very cool i know lol)
I also used to work in a couple of clubs getting the audience warmed up before small bands came on.

Luckily i was raised on all types of music and love pretty much all genres so it seemed natural to be a dj, and because i loved most things i could take on alot of different types of gigs, which is cool cos it kept me passionate about what i was doing. I really hope i can go back to it one day :-)
