ok just back from the 02, greenday were great!! 2hr 30mins of enegery and great atmosphere. started with a surrport band called prima donna, not bad and easy listing punk group. then 30 mins later green day arrive at the stage with the 1st song of the new album 21ST CENTRY BRECKDOWN it did rock the place! loud bangers were being set off with fire flames behind the drummer, half way into the gig and some of the big tunes off the AMERICAN IDIOT album were being played like HOLIDAY and ARE WE THE WAITING, after this a few people were called onto the stage to help sing along then run along the stage and stage dive. some older green day songs followed which really went down well, WHEN I COME AROUND and BASKET CASE went down really well, the show ended with an accostic play of WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS after which a surprise of JESUS OF SUBURBIA was played. over all a great gig and look forward to seeing them again. if anyone is going tonight your in for a great night.

I started to be a Green Day fan since the end of last year. Great group and love their performances.

they've matured a hell of a lot over the past few years. Their live performances have really improved too.
Made a very nice transition from teen rock into real rock imo.
