I like the series Jericho. I think its a very great series. I like the storie and what happens in the series. What do you think about it when you know this?? My favorite person is Heather Lisinski . Here are Videos for they who didnt know the series:

I'm thinking about getting the dvd's - could you tell us a little more about the story?

Jericho is a little Town in America. Any Day many nucleares bombes going down in America. Jericho see one bomb at the horizont, but they dont know whats going on. Because they havent a line to others citys or America!. And then they want to find out whats happend. But ist very difficult. Everywhere are peoples who need help or are dead. The son from the President is in Jericho and he had a mystey historie. Then is in Jericho a Man who are invoilded in this bombes but nobody in Jericho know this. The peoples in Jericho want to know more and want life in a good town. But thats very difficult. Hope you know now more :-D Sry for my english dont know its right or not LOL I have taken "google übersetzer" lol

well i just watched the first episode and must say the story is really interesting.
i don't have a favorite character so far and also never have seen any of the actors before but i will continue to watch some more parts.

the story is basically that the usa got hit by 27 atomic bombs allover the country in its biggest cities. now the people are cut of from the public,have no electricity,no news,etc. they don't even know if that one atomic bomb that they have seen in jericho (a small town in kansas) was an accident or an attack. so i can't await to see how it goes on and if they also show other cities or stay focussed on life in jericho.

i personally also think it's interesting to let this scenario run through your own head,what would i do in such a case? if you think something like that can't happen then let me tell you when barack obama became president he got a secret paper from his secret services about the worst thing that could happen in the usa and that wasn't a new war in asia,higher unemployed rates or the climate change,it's the possibility that the usa would be under an attack where a couple of strategically placed atomic bombs would detonated above the usa and therefore put the usa back into middle age-i hope it never happens but it could become reality one day!

Sounds like a very interesting story. If the actors can pull it off, it should be very much fun to watch.

well i'm finally done with the whole jericho series (it has 2 seasons,first one with 22 episodes and the second with just 7 episodes). so i have seen 29 episodes in 8 days,guess that's a personal record and it shows that this series is indeed very interesting and full of tension. once a part is over i couldn't await to see the next one. there are about 15 main-characters but i never had a favorite one,that doesn't mean they are bad actors but it was the story that really got me thrilled and in each episode something is happening that you need to know for the future episodes so if you watch this series you should do it episode for episode and completely.

allover the series it's interesting to watch how people react in a case of emergency,while the first season deals more with personal lives of people who live in jericho and the problems you can get after an atomic attack the second season shows how corrupt and dirty government organizations and secret services can be and gives more background information on what really happened with the usa as a country.

with the time the problems in jericho get bigger and bigger.in the beginning the people there think the attack itself was the biggest problem as they have problems with electricity,food,etc. then they get in trouble with each other,then with the neighbor city and other survivors,then with the military,then with a group of mercenaries,then with the new government,etc. and each time the troubles get worse and some of the main characters also lose their life,so it's not always a happy ending that you'll get. but i think the series shows a realistic possibility of what could happen after such a tragedy.

i can highly recommend this series,watch it and learn from it!!!

no deb,i watched it in german. but once again the story is the most important thing here,language and words don't matter much this time. one of the main characters is even deaf and uses sign language (by the way this actress is also deaf in real life)

doesn't take a long time cause it's a rather short series, i watched it in the record time of just 8 days (if i remember it right) ;-)
