Definetely! i have heard a lot about young teenagers that commited a suicide while listening to sad songs like chemical's romance and many other artists songs!

first off, i think they're just stories to get the media and parents hyped up. Also if someone was thinking of comitting suicide, they will just do it, they wont go hunting for music to die by. Just my opinion of course.

But my own personal opinion of songs about suicide is they are a bit tastless, but each to their own.
