Ok i have been waiting till i've had time to do this properly so here it is lol
One of my new favourite acts right now as well as Marya is Pearl.
The group is called Pearl and they are fronted by an awesome singer Pearl Aday, who some Marya fans will know of as Pearl performed at the divebar with Marya in May this yr.
Like Marya she is just starting out and has an EP which is awesome too
My fave song from it is 'nobody' i really love the lyrics and really love her vocals in it too.

I love Pearl! It was great to see her opening for Meat. My fave song has to be Worth Defending though.

I was at the Romsey one and yes she was great. Esp. when she joined Meat during his encores.
i'm gutted she didnt do that at bath or notts :-(

Yea Pearl was superb at every show that i saw her on tour with her dad. I do have some really great pics of her, i will get round to posting them. I am just finding me feet here;)LOL...
at least its similar to another forum we visit chelle lol not too much difference in the way it works, except the photo albums in your profile, if you get stuck, give me a shout on skype and i'll talk you thru it :-)
We do tend to think the same alot lol so not surprised about posting a vid the same time :hehe: just thought it was funny we been telling you to join for a while and you turn up just after i post a pearl thread :rofl:

i have made so many friends by just saying hey to the person next to me lol concerts are good for that cos you have something in common straight off :-)
I'm a bit shy at concerts and normally stick with the people I know.
I met one of my best friends in the universe that way Anji. Well actually it was sleeping out in a park to see Jon Bon Jovi but you get the drift lol and now she is my adopted daughter lol That was back in 1997 and she was only 15 and now she is all grown up and clever :cool: Well sort of :-p I'm sure she will find this and correct me :hehe: Wont you Kat :-p When she stops travellling long enough to come back here anyway :hehe:
Actually all of my closest friends are people I have met through Bon Jovi or Meat Loaf. And for that matter my favourite bands have all led on from one artist to another lol. Bon Jovi got me into Meat loaf through Kasim the bass player who played with Richie Sambora GOD on his solo tour in 1998 and then John and Paul found Marya for me :cool: I wonder where it will lead me next lol. To the moon if marya gets her wish lololol.
Hopefully it also leads to good friendships with Marya fans as well :-) I've already met some great ones. Willis was the first who is also a Meat Loaf / Jim Steinman fan :cool: Then Daniel and now those of you here :cool:

Pearl is very good. I have to say I like her more now having seen her live. Just wish I could have seen her when she was performing in Camden. Fingers crossed she comes over here again.
Well her album is released in Jan Lou, so i'm hoping she does at least a small tour to promote it :cool: you wouldve loved Camden, it really caught my attention with her seeing her live finally.

I think Pearl has a brilliant voice,i have only seen her live a couple of times a few years ago but she was brilliant,i was disappointed that she didnt open for Meat in London and Liverpool..
shame you didnt get to see her this tour Barb, she really has grown as a performer

Because that was one of the earlier estimated release dates given. And actually, it's been pushed back to February now, according to the new header on Pearl's MySpace. It was the same story with her first album. At least we know it will be well worth the wait!!!
even longer :-( i hope its to make sure its right and not due to any problems, that would be a good time for me if she tours around then ;-)
