yeah putting hols on will be difficult, something is bound to be left off or a country forgotten, these kind of things can offend people so probably best not to, i like the idea of a calender though, thanks for starting the thread ASP.

yes totally agree with Anji. In every country there are different dates of special days ex: here The Greek national day is on 25 of march or 28th of November and in England St George's Day on April 23st and the Independence day in america is 4th of July.we are gonna get confused with this i think (:

Unfortunately like some have said holidays change from country to country. But you are more than welcome to add any that you want. Just put what country it is for and to make it easier on others in English :cool:

The Marya Roxx calendar is a great idea. We'll see what we can do.

Thanks Admin for considering my idea. I think it's particularly good because the tour will be in November, so people will be looking for calendars anyhow! With such calendars it's extremely important for the front pic to be an absolute eye-catcher. My suggestion would be to either present a number of options in the forum and let the members pick the winning pic or for the members to suggest a pic from the gallery. What does everyone think?

well the title-photo really needs an eye cather as bloodflowerz said but i think it shouldn't be hard for marya to get this done :-D

and another idea,maybe one month should show a picture(-collection) with marya and her biggest fans,she already shot many photos on the last tour and that would be even more interesting for the fans who are inside to buy it!!!

That's a good idea, Frankie, but then you'd need the permission of all those fans first... One band I'm a fan of (KrashKarma) did an album where they asked all the fans on their website to mail them any pic they'd like to be featured on their next album - sure enough they did, my logo is on there also! Nice idea! If we did it THIS way, we wouldn't need the permission, as it would be implicitly given by mailing the desired pic! :-)

as for the pics from the marya tour,all photos were done by marya and supposed to appear on her webpage so in a certain way she's the copyright owner and if she only takes the one of her biggest fans like you and me she only needs to ask us and i'm sure nobody here has anything against it ;-)

I disagree Frankie, webpage with limited access only for members and a printed calendar for sale with potentially thousands of prospective buyers are two different things. I still think permission would be needed. :-)

bloodflowerz,i only talk about the big fans here from the forum,not the hundreds of lafee fans who took photos with marya on tour,there are only a handful of people like you,deb,heather,coolvibes,me,etc. and i'm sure marya won't get problems from us :-D

there's even no space for hundreds of photos with fans unless you would print them so small that nobody can recognize who it is,so i think of maybe 10 fan photos on only one calendar page.

Just off the top of my head fans that had pics taken from here were...

Me, You, Bloodlfowerz, Anji, Heather, Nicola, Jeurgen, Cool Vibes, Angela, Angela's brother, Rebi, Anastacia, Vivian, 2 VN fans that names escape me right now (sorry :-) ) Then there were a lot of fans that don't come here and only go to myspace.. Sorry if I forgot anyone... brains still not working :-p

This reminded me that Meat Loaf did this once with a poster in a single cd.. It was small pics that made up a mosaic type thing, but imo that looked really cool and the fun bit was finding where people you knew where as they were small. I think I'd actually prefer the latter, than a bigger pic of me on there lol. Plus would have more fans on it and wouldn't have this 'we're bigger fans' air about it. Even though I know that's not what you meant frankie :-)

I have one from Avril Lavigne for 2010 but When Marya make a Calendar too (I hope it :-p) Then I will buy it and then I have 2 Calendar for 2010 :-D :-p ;-)

Ah really? Which 2010 Avril calendar do you have? The official one? Last year noone in Switzerland sold the official one, they all had that horrible "inofficial" one! :-( We'll have to make sure Marya's calendar says: "Official Calendar"! :-)

Last Year It gives an official Calendar from Avril I have he Offical from 2008 and 2009 now I have the unofficial and I have buy Rebi the Pfficial so we have both calendar from 2010 :-D
