Hiya!

Well it seems there's a few people here who will know me already from mlukfc...but for those of you that don't, I'm Helen...in case you hadn't guessed already from the username ;-).

(I'm loving the emoticons, but they scare me a little!) :hmm:

I'm not sure what there is to say about me really...I'm from near Manchester in the UK and my only resemblance to my avatar is that I'm small, blonde, and my sunglasses cover most of my face!

I'm here on recommendation from Deb and Anji over at mlukfc...I confess I've not yet heard any of the music but promise as soon as I've hit submit on this post, I'm on my way over to MySpace, and '21' is downloading as we speak...I'm never one to say no to new music and looking forward to expanding my musical knowledge! :-)

Nice to see that some people have read the thread and given Marya a chance, I really like the EP and i'm sure if you like 21?! you will like the rest...imho the others are much stronger songs but that is just My opinion ;-)

I'll head over to the 'what we look like' thread as soon as I 've found a picture of me that isnt' horrific - the best one of me is the pic of me and Alex, and it'd be a bit weird posting that one I think - could get away with it on mlukfc since everyone knows him there anyway!

(for those that don't already know me, Alex is my friend, and fairly recent-ish ex)

Oooh and be proud because Marya Roxx is in the background at work today - via MySpace ;-) :-D

the customers phoning up probably wonder what's going on in the background...luckily boss is used to me listening to music at work now...usually stick with the radio but the same tune played 4 times throughout the day can grate a bit if it's not something I'm chosing to listen to! However, thanks to the joys of MySpace and Youtube, we've had Pearl, and Patti Russo, and many many more...and now Marya :rockon::-D
